1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use the service. FloPost, operated by FLOPOST, LLC, uses cookies to provide essential functionality, improve your experience, and analyze usage.
2. Cookies we use
The website flopost.ai sets no cookies of its own. The FloPost app, where you sign in, sets the cookies below, and no others.
Essential cookies
__sessionkeeps you signed in. It is set when you sign in, lasts one hour and is renewed while you have the app open, and is removed when you sign out.flopost_dev_accessis set only on FloPost's invite-only test site. It remembers for 24 hours that your account may use it.
You cannot opt out of these cookies without losing the ability to sign in.
Analytics cookies
Help us understand how visitors use our site — pages visited, time on site, and referral sources. We use Google Analytics for Firebase for this in the FloPost app, and it starts only after you accept analytics cookies. It sets Google's _ga and _ga_ cookies (the second name ends in an ID), which Google keeps for up to 2 years. This data is aggregated. We use it to improve our product and marketing pages.
3. Cookie consent banner
When you first visit our marketing pages (home, pricing, features, contact, etc.), we show a cookie consent banner at the bottom of the screen. You can choose to Accept or Decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage so we don't show the banner again. If you decline, we will not set analytics cookies unless you change your mind later.
4. How to manage cookies
You can manage cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Check your browser's help section for instructions.
- Clear local storage: Clearing your browser's local storage for flopost.ai will reset your cookie consent and show the banner again on your next visit.
- Incognito/private mode: Using private browsing may limit certain cookies.
Note: Blocking or deleting essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using core features.
5. Third-party cookies
We may use third-party services that set their own cookies. For example, when you connect social accounts (Instagram, TikTok, etc.), those platforms may use cookies on their own sites for sign-in. Our payment provider (Stripe) uses cookies on its own checkout pages. We do not control these third-party cookies; refer to their respective privacy policies.
